After 28 years, this milestone is about more than technology. It is about the people, partnerships, and shared efforts that have shaped Metrocom’s journey and continue to move us forward. To celebrate this milestone and bring its people together, Metrocom welcomed 400+ employees at Sarinah, Jakarta, for Metroversary Runnected 2.8: Connected Miles, Shared Success, a 2.8KM fun run held on August 9, 2026.

The 2.8KM distance represents Metrocom’s 28 years journey, with the route taking employees from Sarinah to Bundaran HI and back. More than just a run, Runnected 2.8 was a chance to step away from the usual workday, connect across teams, celebrate achievements, and create new memories together. The celebration continued with a traditional tumpeng ceremony, employee awards, door prizes, and moments of shared joy.

Looking ahead, President Commissioner of Metrocom, Indra S. A. Pattiasina, highlighted that the 28th anniversary is not only a celebration, but also a moment to “start again” He also reminded employees that success is never achieved individually.
